WHITSTABLE TOWN FC ACADEMY PLAYER ALEX SIGNS 2 YEAR PROFESSIONAL CONTRACT WITH COLCHESTER UNITED

We are delighted to say our second year scholarship player Alex (17 years old) has signed a 2 year professional contract with League 2 club Colchester United! 

Alex is a phenomenal young talent. He displays superb technical ability off both feet and is very dominant in 1vs1 attacking situations. Alex progressed through our Advanced Academy from age U15 into our full time scholarship programme training and learning everyday. His desire and attitude to improve every day at training was second to none and has earnt him this well deserved opportunity. 

Alex has signed a 2 year contract (1 year scholarship & 1 year U23’s contract). We are excited to see his development over the next 2 years stepping into a professional environment.
