Football Futures Schools Football Festival

At Football Futures we hold two football festivals per year from Years 3 to 6.

We were happy to host our very first Football Futures Schools Football Festival in Herne Bay in April.

The day was a huge success, with 16 schools in attendance from around the Canterbury district.

 

Each primary school was welcomed to the Herne Bay Sports Hub, where each school played against each other for a position in the finals. 

The tournament layout is made up of 4 groups of 4, with the top 2 from each group advancing through to the gold cup quarter finals. Third and fourth place from each group will then advanced through to the silver cup quarter final. Winners of the quarter finals will then progress through to the Semi-Final and then the Finals. 

Runners up will receive medals, with the winners receiving a trophy for their school and medals for each player.
