Whitstable Town FC

We have been in partnership with Whitstable Town FC since 2016. We currently operate our Whitstable Town FC Academy under the clubs name to allow clear pathways to progress into the mens reserves and the clubs first team. We hold our education at the club in our brand new classroom and host all our home games for the academy at the stadium.

We work closely with the club, providing them with an U7 team each season, from our Saturday Development sessions. We support the coaches on training nights to ensure the coaches are improving and that the quality of session delivery is being improved, so to develop each individual within the club. Our partnership is going from strength to strength with the academy numbers growing. Our academy is one one of the biggest in Kent and is fast becoming well established in the country.

RD Global Sports

We formed a partnership with RD Global Sports in March 2020 to allow players pathways to play professional football in Spain and Portugal. RD Global Sports a well-established intermediary agency, have contacts with all the professional leagues in Spain and Portugal. This allows us to send our talented players to two fantastic countries in Europe if we feel we have players of this calibre. Our partnership will also see RD Global Sports sending us players from Spain, Portugal and different countries in Europe, to join our Whitstable Town FC Academy. Their players will also be able to come over to work closely with our Football Futures coaches on a 1-1 basis, to gear them up ready for trials in England. This is through our extensive contacts within the game. Our partnership will see Football Futures coaches go over to Canary Island (RD Global Sports base) and work with their full-time academy players in the age group of 16-21 years. It is here our coaches will provide professional sessions and potentially spot talented players, who could come over to England and play professionally.

Football Futures has helped my son develop some great skills and playing better in different positions. He is becoming a more complete team player. The Elite camps and advance academy are top notch. I will gladly recommend anyone as they are competing with proper academies with players getting signed, scouted and recommended. Good place to develop players

Great football academy. The coaching style and level is highly professional, supportive, and high quality, while still creating a fun and nurturing environment for children who truly love football and dream big. My son absolutely loves attending his weekly sessions and I can see how much is helping him growing so much in both confidence and skills most importantly. The half-term camps are also fantastic, really well organised, engaging, and so much fun. I highly recommend.

Our Son, attends the advanced academy sessions at Whitstable and has also attended various elite camp sessions during school holidays. Football futures have a very professional set up, with a great structure to each session that clearly shows positive development for all levels with all coaches working the groups to a high intensity to maximise their learning, highly recommended for serious players who want to learn and progress. The coaching team are highly skilled and dedicated in improving all players. We have seen huge progression in son’s game since joining FF, along with plenty of opportunities to showcase skills during pro fixtures and tournaments.

My son has been attending football futures advanced academy at Whitstable since November 2024. Every coach approaches each session and fixture with a highly professional attitude and they set a fantastic example to the young players always. The sessions are very well structured, relevant to the players, ability level in a fun and engaging environment. Each term is clearly set out in advance and communicated to parents. That is not something I have seen elsewhere and to that end further highlights how well organised this academy is. Since joining football futures, my son has grown in confidence even more, his sharpness and ball manipulation has greatly improved and at each and every training session and fixture is met with a highly qualified coach who is supportive, approachable and fun whilst very professional too, and I have never heard a negative comment from any of them. From discussions with parents and word of mouth they have developed an excellent reputation that stretches far beyond their geographic location which is a testament to how exceptional this academy is. My son also regularly attends 1:1 training sessions. These are always well structured and are designed to enhance each player’s individual development. Since attending these I have seen the skills, the sharpness and awareness introduced into weekly matches which has further contributed to his development and consistency. They are always delivered to very high standard. Add to all this, myself and my son have made some wonderful friendships too. All of the above is testament to Josh, the whole coaching team and their continuing commitment to delivering a truly dynamic and well balanced environment for learning not just football but important life skills too. I would highly recommend this academy to any parent.

My daughter has been attending Football Futures 1-to-1 sessions for over a year now, and her improvement has been incredible. Her awareness, sharpness, passing, and striking have all come on massively. She’s also attended the elite, girls and half term’ camps, which have been fantastic for building her confidence, meeting new players, and getting used to structured training days. All of the coaches are so supportive and approachable. She’s recently started the girls’ academy sessions on Mondays, and she absolutely loves it. Highly recommend to any female players looking to develop both skill and confidence!

Finn has just turned 11 and has been with Football Futures for just over two years. He takes his sports seriously … he’s very competitive, he sets himself high expectations, he really enjoys being challenged and he wants to work hard. Football Futures is an environment which offers all of that and where we have seen him thrive. It’s incredibly well run with different drills each week keeping it interesting and engaging, whilst reinforcing key technical themes, which has helped Finn work consistently at increasing the quality of his game. It also gives players opportunities to test themselves in elite and pro fixtures, putting into practice what they've been learning. There have been some steep learning curves but Finn finds each experience Football Futures provides an exciting challenge, and it's what drives and motivates him to keep improving. But what I think makes Football Futures special are the relationships Finn has built with the coaches … they take time to know him, they build his confidence, they challenge him, they laugh with him, they fuel his determination, they genuinely want him to flourish and they've created a space where he can learn from his mistakes and celebrate his successes. I asked Finn how he would describe Football Futures in three words and he said … “fantastic, hard working & fun”. It says it all!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Football Futures is a Top-Tier Experience! Our son, Bear, just returned from two unforgettable weeks with Football Futures in Kent, and we couldn’t be more grateful to Josh Algar and his outstanding team. From day one, the level of professionalism, care, and quality was clear. The training was intense, focused, and deeply thoughtful—exactly what we hoped for when looking for a true English football experience. Bear had the chance to work closely with top-tier coaches like Joe and Karl, train alongside talented players like Raffy, and even compete in a tournament where his team took home the win! It was a huge honor and a direct result of the environment Football Futures creates: competitive, supportive, and inspiring. What made the experience even more meaningful was the warmth and hospitality Josh and his staff extended—not just to Bear, but to our whole family. From the monogrammed jersey on Day 1 to the regular communication and care throughout, we felt completely supported. Though I wasn’t able to be there in person, I followed every video and update closely and could see how much Bear was growing in confidence and skill. He came away more focused, more disciplined, and more passionate than ever. If you’re looking for a program that pushes your player on the field while also nurturing their growth off the field, I can’t recommend Football Futures enough. We’re already counting down the days until we return next summer. Thank you, Josh, Joe, Karl, and the entire Football Futures crew—you’re doing something truly special.
