Every coach approaches each session and fixture with a highly professional attitude and they set a fantastic example to the young players always. The sessions are very well structured, relevant to the players, ability level in a fun and engaging environment. Each term is clearly set out in advance and communicated to parents. That is not something I have seen elsewhere and to that end further highlights how well organised this academy is. Since joining football futures, my son has grown in confidence even more, his sharpness and ball manipulation has greatly improved and at each and every training session and fixture is met with a highly qualified coach who is supportive, approachable and fun whilst very professional too, and I have never heard a negative comment from any of them. From discussions with parents and word of mouth they have developed an excellent reputation that stretches far beyond their geographic location which is a testament to how exceptional this academy is. My son also regularly attends 1:1 training sessions. These are always well structured and are designed to enhance each player’s individual development. Since attending these I have seen the skills, the sharpness and awareness introduced into weekly matches which has further contributed to his development and consistency. They are always delivered to very high standard. Add to all this, myself and my son have made some wonderful friendships too. My daughter has been attending Football Futures 1-to-1 sessions for over a year now, and her improvement has been incredible. Her awareness, sharpness, passing, and striking have all come on massively. She’s also attended the elite, girls and half term’ camps, which have been fantastic for building her confidence, meeting new players, and getting used to structured training days. Finn has just turned 11 and has been with Football Futures for just over two years. He takes his sports seriously … he’s very competitive, he sets himself high expectations, he really enjoys being challenged and he wants to work hard. Football Futures is an environment which offers all of that and where we have seen him thrive. It’s incredibly well run with different drills each week keeping it interesting and engaging, whilst reinforcing key technical themes, which has helped Finn work consistently at increasing the quality of his game. It also gives players opportunities to test themselves in elite and pro fixtures, putting into practice what they've been learning. There have been some steep learning curves but Finn finds each experience Football Futures provides an exciting challenge, and it's what drives and motivates him to keep improving. But what I think makes Football Futures special are the relationships Finn has built with the coaches … they take time to know him, they build his confidence, they challenge him, they laugh with him, they fuel his determination, they genuinely want him to flourish and they've created a space where he can learn from his mistakes and celebrate his successes. Our son, Bear, just returned from two unforgettable weeks with Football Futures in Kent, and we couldn’t be more grateful to Josh Algar and his outstanding team. From day one, the level of professionalism, care, and quality was clear. The training was intense, focused, and deeply thoughtful—exactly what we hoped for when looking for a true English football experience. Bear had the chance to work closely with top-tier coaches like Joe and Karl, train alongside talented players like Raffy, and even compete in a tournament where his team took home the win! It was a huge honor and a direct result of the environment Football Futures creates: competitive, supportive, and inspiring. What made the experience even more meaningful was the warmth and hospitality Josh and his staff extended—not just to Bear, but to our whole family.
